What is Bakugan Fever

For folks who don’t know, Bakugan is a fantastic strategic game based on the famous anime TV series, “Bakugan: Battle Brawlers.” It pits a number of “Bakugan warriors” towards each other for game points. The Bakugan pieces are magnetic, spring-loaded marbles that explode open to showcase a fearful warrior–when struck by a metal “gate card”

This is done by rolling your Bakugan warriors onto these metal gate game cards and fighting with defending enemy Bakugan. The game involves an unbelievable amount of wits, and strategy, and features different tactical cards and trap pieces that help insure protection of your Bakugan warriors.

Strategic Imagination Required

This game partners skill (skillfully aiming your Bakugan) with strategy (placement of the cards). Bakugan Players also love the way the fighter warriors burst open on the magnetic Bakugan cards – Even though at times they do it even when they don’t land on the cards. Players who haven’t seen the TV show, may seem a little lost at first in the world of Bakugan. But with the assistance of the artistic information filled, animated Bakugan Web site, they will quickly understand what the game is about and how to play to win.

Even if you don’t have the official strategy game, Bakugan toys are funfilled and can be enjoyed and played with like regular action figures. Bakugan Fans of the show will love role-playing as one of the different fighter warriors, such as the fiery 12-year-old leader “Dan” or the wise “Marucho.”

The fun deadly transformation process is a bit complicated, but the set includes step by step simple instructions that make assembly easy. The assembled Dragonoid is a an awesome amazing toy, although a bit unstable — if not positioned properly, he will easily fall down and collapse.

Each of the seven Bakugan that make up Dragonoid can be used separately in the strategy game. Expert players will be content to know that this set also includes a unique ability card, which will come in help when you’re planning a strategy to destroy your enemy. Just remember that, in order to win Bakugan properly, you’ll need to gather other Bakugan marbles/cards that are not available in this package. Kids who are new to Bakugan might be better off with one of the various starter packs.
